Ever feel like proving somebody wrong? Ever make a mistake and truly feel you learned from it? Ever see someone fail and get right back up? As we head into our 6th consecutive year, we want to share a list of 6 Reasons why you should never give up, why it's important to overcome the odds and prove people wrong (usually yourself) and truly make an impact in your life and the life of someone else! You can also site this list as 6 reasons to try Adversity-Wisconsin VBC:

Adversity Training Center (ATC):  Adversity-Wisconsin VBC proudly announces our very own training center! Located in Germantown, Wisconsin, this state-of-the-art facility boasts 2 very spacious courts with international lines, a 23 foot ceiling, Snap Sports Revolution flooring, Sports Imports professional net systems (used by the NCAA & Olympic Games), mini-court access for small group clinics and privates lessons, Molten Junior Olympic volleyballs, various training aids (such as setter volleyballs & therbands) and much, much more! We have the most consistent practice schedules in the state of Wisconsin! See the training centers tab to the left for our address, directions to our new facility and age specific practice days & times.

Character Development:  We want our kids to represent the sport, their families and the club to the highest level - how we carry ourselves and being responsible for our actions both on and off the court means something to us! Each coach tackles character building and team building in their own way and we will be sharing even more of my ideas with our staff to further excel in this area.  Visit the developing character tab (to the left) for more info!

Competitive Tournament Schedule:  We’ve found that having a tough tournament schedule by playing up an age level or two can improve team performance without adding unnecessary miles through undesirable travel. Local events are within a 30-60 mile radius, and when overnight stays are needed, hotel costs (for in-state tournaments) are already included in your club fees! No hidden costs.  Combining and experienced coach that develops skills combined with a strong tournament schedule has been propeling our athletes amongst some of the best schools in the state!

National Success:  We stuck by our motto of starting small and doing things right and have a history of success at in-state tournaments and at the national level! We had 2 teams our inaugural season and both earned bids to Nationals. In our 1st 3 years of club existance, we sent 4 out of 9 teams to participate at USAV Nationals! Doing things right or not doing them at all is the reason we are having a huge amount of success in such a short time! We are proud to say we will be offering girls teams at the 1's level from 12's to 18's this year (with plenty of opportunities to try-out at each age level)! We have also implemented that all our teams ages 13 & Up participate at the AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida.  We are already seeing our results and national track record improving annually! Placing our teams (by skill and experience) in the proper division, in addition to peaking our athletes and teams in June are reasons why our girls continue to succeed at nationals and beyond!

Skill & Staff Development:  We host a 3 hour staff training that is above and beyond the requirements needed to coach in the Badger Region. Our 2nd consecutive year of our own training will include implementing our own innovative serving strategies, attacking focus areas, serve-receive shifts & position-specific training.  Our goal is to obtain & train quality people - we will only offer particular age groups if we feel we have the proper coach in place that will meet our present goals and future aspirations!

The Overall Experience:  Making volleyball truly enjoybale, using encouragement & positve praise over consequences, progressive drill development, positionally cross training athletes, providing additional opportunities in growth through small clinics, optional summer instructional training, our evident attention to detail, fundraising opportunities (when needed), excellent uniforms and the use of our equipment to promote responsibility (setter balls and therabands) are all reasons that create a positive overall experience.  We hope you contact us to find out more!

We hope you will want to be a part of our continued success as we develop & shape the future of Adversity-Wisconsin VBC! Feel free to contact us with any questions – we site communication as a major contributor in the entire process! We hope to see you at tune-ups, try-outs and on the court!
